“Daughter” to vie at UCLA film event

Reza Mirkarimi’s “Daughter” has been scheduled  to go on screen in UCLA Celebration of Iranian Cinema on May 18.

UCLA Celebration of Iranian cinema in Los Angeles will screen Reza Mirkarimi’s “Daughter”.

The movie will go on screen on May 18.

Reza Mirkarimi’s “Daughter” depicts the family crisis caused by a girl’s trip to Tehran .The girl tarvels to Tehran from the southwestern city of Abadan to take part in a friend’s farewell party.

The movie won Best Film and Best Actor (Male) at the 47th International Film Festival of India, grand prize and the award for best actor in a leading role at Mons International Love Film Festival and ‘CinéFemme’ and the International Confederation of Arts and Compilation awards.
